Now that Thanksgiving is over we’re heading into the last month of the year! Where did the time go? Skate Ranch and Skate-O-Rama are hosting great events all month long, including our annual Christmas Break Skate & New Year’s Eve parties.

First Friday in December, Skate-O-Rama in Nacogdoches will be open from 4:00 – 6:00pm in addition to our regularly scheduled 7:00 – 10:00pm session.  Skate Ranch in Lufkin will host December’s Home School Skate as well on Friday, December 4^th, 1:00 – 3:00pm. Both locations are open to all families in Angelina and Nacogdoches counties, as well as any further surrounding areas, who home school or stay at home! If you haven’t checked out Angelina County Home Educators, ACHE, or Nacogdoches Area Christian Home Educators Association, NACHEA, you’re missing out! Remember, no passes accepted for the special skate times.

The 2^nd Annual Pajama Jam kicks off at 6:00pm Friday, December 11^th at Skate Ranch. Everyone is invited to wear their craziest, comfiest, and best pajamas to roller skate and jam! Teddy bears and slippers are welcome too.  Get the kiddos dressed for bed and then take them roller skating. They’ll be worn out by the time we close at 10:00pm and sleep like a bug in a rug! As always, our guests keep it classy no matter the theme.

That leads us into what so many kids, parents, and teachers are looking forward to – Christmas Break Skate 2015! We kick off the Christmas vacation roller skating on Friday, December 18^th and run thru Sunday January 3^rd.   The only two days we’ll be closed are Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. FREE Admission passes good at Skate Ranch & Skate-O-Rama will be given to all school districts, not only Angelina and Nacogdoches counties, but those beyond Lufkin and Nacogdoches as well. Make sure to ask your teachers, check your backpacks, and folders for those passes!

What’s the best way to end 2015? A New Year’s Eve party on wheels! Indoors. Where it’s warm. Skate Ranch and Skate-O-Rama are doing it again! Hosting their annual New Year’s Eve parties. Start the festivities at 7:00pm on Thursday, December 31^st and you can roller skate until 1:00am on January 1^st! Not only is that 6 hours of roller skating and fun, but we’ll have our midnight countdown balloon drop, doors prizes, dash-for-cash, and much more! Both our Lufkin and Nacogdoches locations provide a fun, safe, family friendly environment for your night out. Cost is $12 admission (We never charge for spectator parents coming in with their kids) and $3 skate rentals of your choice. No passes will be accepted for this event.
